In vitro study | Treatment of MKN-28 cells with rabeprazole will significantly reduce their viability. Rabeprazole induced massive apoptosis in AGS cells and competitively inhibited the phosphorylation of ERK1/2 in MKN-28 cells, whereas this effect was absent in KATO III or MKN-45 cells. Rabeprazole can effectively inhibit the phosphorylation of ERK1/2 in gastric cancer cells, and weaken the viability of human gastric cancer cells by inhibiting the ERK1/2 signaling pathway. |
In vivo study | In rats after Subtotal gastrectomy, Rabeprazole did not worsen the disturbance of bone metabolism, but improved the TG-induced decrease in bone density. |
